on Monday the third of April the Year 6 class ventured into the world of Ancient Egypt and experienced a thrilling blast into the past of a Egyptian pharaoh, priestess and the townsfolk of real villages. They experienced and joined in with a reenactment of a weighing-of-the-heart ceremony, took part in a artifact handling session where they handled (and assessed) ancient artifacts that are thousands of years old and stopped off at stations to do different activity's that helped us understand the Egyptians in greater depth. 'Over all a great day' said Nathan in a interview after the event.
