We watched the riot police in action and saw how the police dogs took control when things got tricky. It was really interesting and we learned lots. We all loved exploring inside the Police Van. We really enjoyed our poetry focus! We were using Fiurative Language - similes, metaphors and personification to do scribe the river, the rain and the sea. We were very successful and thoroughly pleased with what we achieved. Please see a section of our individual effort. What do you think? By: May ( Digital Leader ) We visited the Oriental museum in Durham where we saw a real mummy! It was so fascinating! We listened carefully to Dan (our leader for the afternoon) who showed us loads of Egyptian artefacts - some dating back 4000 years! We mummified Chloe in our class. She was the Pharoah. This group in the photo judged the Pharoah and her heart weighed heavier than a feather! Written by May (Digital Leader) |
