We have been learning about animals and where they live. Inside the classroom we made a jungle! We put our playdough inside the tuff spot and added broccoli, cabbage and spinach so we could make a mini jungle. It was fantastic! We have moved like different animals on the playground and we've also been on animal hunts in the woods. It has been a busy week indeed! Mrs Rees brought some tunnels to our field. We had great fun exploring them; running through and listening to echoes (and playing monsters of course)! They are great for climbing on too. Do you think you could balance on them? Can you guess who is in the aeroplane? One of our morning children went flying with his family. His Dad flew the plane over the school so we could wave and shout hello. How fantastic!

What a lot of adventures you have all been up to! The learning and excitement at nursery has led to some wonderful talk and exploration at home - we have been reading Billy goats gruff and we are on the lookout for a mouse or gruffalo in our garden! Thank you for providing so much stimulation and for braving the outdoors in snowy April!!!!!

Gruffalo crumble has been a hit at our house!! Thank goodness Mrs Wall took the spikes out first! ; ) On our car journey home I've had requests for owl ice cream, roasted fox and scrambled snake for tea... best be off to the shop then...
